Proprietor: Christine Dymond B.Ed Hons (Early Years Teacher)

"Working with young children and early education has been a passion of mine for the past 30 years. Having worked in a variety of settings with a cross section of children including disabled and special needs and having taught in the main stream, I decided that the most important part of education has to be their first experience at the nursery and that if the children are excited and enthusiastic about learning, they will go off to school with a positive attitude".

"We feel very strongly at "Southernwood" that small children should be well socialised and have a wide range of experiences with opportunities to make decisions, help to solve problems and develop their own initiative so that they develop as independent and confident little human beings".
